Why do You ask my story
When all my words are lies
When You don’t listen to me
You don’t hear my defeated cries.
Why do You ask my voice to speak
My answers are untrue and weak
My words do not form the story You seek
You don’t hear my dying shriek.
Why do You ask me to talk
You lead me into the endless walk
You tell me to use my voice
But that was not my choice.
